PORT OPERATIONS MANAGER
LAZARO CARDENAS, GUAYMAS, MANZANILLO

I. Responsibilities
• Merchandises load and unload operations of vessels in the terminals
• Supervise imports and exports tramit including custom situation in order to free merchandises
• Logistic processes until the delivery of merchandises to the final users
• Design commercial strategies looking for cost reduction and accessible tariffs
• Negotiate services with terminal providers and navy lines, transporters, and related actuators
• Supervise personnel results in the operations heads, sales, procurement, purchases, internal activities of the foreign trade brokerage
• 24 hours contact with ships, armors, and customers
• Maintenance of installations and port equipment
• knowledge and experience in systems of quality control, processes implantation of normative standards

II. Requirements
• Bachelor degree in a relative matter, such Foreign Trade, International Commerce, Custom Law, Logistics,
• 10+ years of experience in a managerial level, supervising personnel results of the operation heads, sales, procurement, purchases, internal activities of the foreign trade brokerage
• 10+ in logistics processes, customs, navy, port experience
• ability to design commercial strategies looking for cost redction and accessible tariffs
• ability to negotiate services with terminal providers and navy lines, transporters, and related actuators
• Solid relationships with authorities, such as: Federal, Mercantile, Marine, SCT, Port Captain, and Preventive Taxes Police
• Knowledge and experience in Customs General Direction, in Foreign Trade Maters, Customs Law, Ports Law, Ports Operations Law, Foreign Trade Law
• Experience supervising maintenance of installations and port equipment activities
• Knowledge and experience in systems of quality control, processes implantation of normative standards
• Solid ethics
• Trading skills
• English
