Veracruz) La Administración Portuaria Integral de Veracruz (APIVER) adquirió los derechos de vía para avanzar con el proyecto de la línea ferroviaria que unirá de manera directa el recinto portuario con el parque logístico de Santa Fe, justo hasta el punto donde actualmente confluyen los sistemas operados por Ferrosur y Kansas City Southern de México.
En entrevista, el Director General de APIVER, Juan Ignacio Fernández Carbajal, explicó que con la adquisición de dichos predios se liberan los derechos de vía para el avance de este proyecto de transporte multimodal que se espera estará operando a finales del año 2009.
Hemos erogado hasta el momento alrededor de 90 millones de pesos en lo que se refiere a la adquisición de los predios para la liberación de los derechos de vía para tender la línea del ferrocarril del corredor logístico México- Veracruz- Coatzacoalcos, detalló.
Precisó que la nueva vía tendrá una longitud de 18.5 kilómetros. Por otro lado informó que la proyección es que el Puerto de Veracruz cierre el año con un movimiento de carga de alrededor de 18 millones de toneladas cifra similar a la del año pasado.
Pese a la ligera reducción en rubros de la carga como los automóviles y los graneles agrícolas, puntualizó que hay otras cargas que han crecido sobre todo en el área de exportación como la azúcar que este año se habrán exportado alrededor de 120.000 toneladas.
