Seabrokers reports that Mexican shipping company Blue Marine has ordered two 170ft rapid intervention vessels from Mazatlan, Sinaloa.
The vessels are part of the Pemex fleet modernisation plan and made the headlines for being the first vessels in more than 20 years to be built in a private Mexican shipyard.
The vessels, which will fly the Mexican flag, represent an investment of US$160 million.
