Job tasks:
§ Prevent unplanned downtime of the vessel
§ Liaise with the Vessel Management Team on the technical status of the vessel and equipment
§ Undertake the necessary steps in close co-operation with internal customers like purchasing, engineering and subcontractors in case of malfunctioning
§ Prepare schedules and technical evaluation of subcontractors
§ Raise, specify and evaluate requisitions for spare parts, consumables and services and monitor the budget
§ Follow-up all issues required by authorities and project management and ensure that all the work is carried out accordingly
§ Prepare mobilization / demobilization / repair periods, prepare detailed planning in close conjunction with planning department, operations department and logistics department;
§ Control the quality of technical materials during repair periods
§ Prepare budgets covering repairs, maintenance, modifications and investments
§ Monitor the planned maintenance systems onboard and make sure that the required updates are carried out on time

Job requirements:

§ (Marine) Engineering / Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering

§ Minimum of 10 years work experience in this or a comparable position for a maritime company, or the Navy

§ Work experience offshore
