KUALA LUMPUR (Thomson Financial) - Malaysian shipping company MISC Bhd said it has ordered eight chemical/product oil tankers together worth 430 million US dollars from South Korea's SLS Shipbuilding Co.
The new tankers will enable the company to boost its capacity and market share in chemical, vegetable oil shipping and products trade, MISC told the Malaysian exchange late Thursday.
The first three tankers will be delivered in 2009 and the remaining five in 2010, it said.
