MEXICO CITY: Mexican state oil company Pemex's E&P subsidiary PEP has awarded Condux the contract for maintenance work at its offshore Gulf of Mexico installations, according to federal procurement website Compranet.
BNamericas reports that the contract is worth US$268 million. Work is scheduled to begin Aug. 29 and run 1,583 days.
As of the final project meeting, 13 other firms had acquired bidding rules.
The firms were: ARB Arendal; Construcción y Servicios Relacionados; Construcciones Integrales del Carmen; Constructora y Prestadora de Servicios Técnicos; Instalaciones Electromecánicas Civiles y Eléctricas; Oceanografía; Naviera Integral; Mantenimiento Marino de México; Subtec; Servicios Marítimos de Campeche; Cotemar; Naviera Petrolera Integral; and Constructora Subacuática Diavaz.
The tender number is 18575108-085-07.
